Innovate Durham uses the expertise of Teesside University to help you do new things in your business. If you have an idea for a new product or service, or want to improve processes, we can provide extensive business and innovation support, which may include funding to recruit a graduate.

With the support of a dedicated Workday specialist, we work with you to understand your business needs and access requirements. A detailed access assessment helps determine the appropriate.Workday Tenant Access and is used to develop a clear plan for secure and effective system access.

We look closely at how your business works today and where innovation can unlock growth, whether that is a new product, a new service or a better process.

Technical consultancy on innovation challenges

Access academic and specialist expertise from Teesside University to help solve the technical problems that stand between you and your next product.

Bid writing support to access research and innovation funding

We help you find the right funding pots and support the bid writing process, so strong ideas are not held back by paperwork.

Graduate placements and Knowledge Exchange Internships

Placements last between six and twelve months and can be supported by University academics working alongside your team on an agreed project.

Innovate Durham is a part funded service available to growth oriented businesses in County Durham. The project has received up to £693,654 of funding from the England European Regional Development Fund as part of the European Structural and Investment Funds Growth Programme 2014 to 2020.
